FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for producing hydrogen and oxygen has processing lines for inlet of water and electrolyte and outlet of electrolysis products, an electrolytic cell comprising a housing with top and bottom covers, fitted on a shaft connected to a rotary actuator, and short-circuited electrodes, one of which is on the shaft, and the other is formed b the inner surface of the housing. The outlet line for electrolysis products comprises series-connected device for pumping electrolysis products, gas analyser and separator, and the inlet line for water and electrolyte has containers for water and electrolyte, a device for regulating water flow, valves, mixer and heat exchanger. The device is fitted with a magnetic system comprising mechanically connected by a magnetic conductor fixed permanent magnets in form of discs, lying in parallel over the top and bottom covers of the housing, as well as two electrically connected with the shaft and housing current carrying discs, corresponding to the width of the fixed magnets, which cover the top and bottom covers. In the current carrying discs there are radial slits, and the covers are made from electrically insulating material. ^ EFFECT: reduced operating speed of rotation of electrolysis cell, increased efficiency and cutting on electrical energy consumption. ^ 2 dwg |
