PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door closer capable of changing the adjusted speed of the sliding door in the closing direction even if a hole is not formed in the front surface of the sliding door at a conspicuous position. SOLUTION: The sliding door closer includes a first spur gear 91 integrally attached to a power spring shaft oppositely to the side surface of a power spring pulley 58, a second spur gear 92 meshed with the first spur gear 91, a worm wheel 93 integrally attached to the second spur gear 92, a worm gear 94 meshed with the worm wheel 93, and a long member (worm guide) 95 one end of which is fitted to the worm gear 94 and the other end of which extends to the end of the sliding door, and which can rotate the worm gear 94 when the other end is rotated.
