Furnace assembly for continuous mixing and melting of inorganic salts

For the continuous smelting of inorganic salts, the solid salts are fed into a furnace (2) for heating. A recirculating unit generates a flow of salts through the furnace to give two phases. One phase contains solid and molten salts and the other separated phase contains molten salts to be extracted in parallel with the feed of fresh solids. The salts are of potassium nitrate or sodium nitrate.
