PURPOSE: An apparatus for applying paste and a method for applying paste are provided to improve productivity by the reduction of column replacement time while suppressing instrument addition and price rise. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(1) for applying paste comprises a plurality of coating heads(3A,3B) which perform coating operation and holding operation; a unit for executing the application for a coating head of a coating target; a unit for executing holding operation for a coating head of a coating target; and a for executing holding operation for a coating head of a non-target. |
