PURPOSE: A side wall of a thermal storage tank and a construction method thereof are provided to partially separate an outer side of insulating materials and to simply repair finishing exterior. CONSTITUTION: A side wall of a thermal storage tank has an insulating material on finishing exterior consisting of a side appearance and circumference of an inner wall. The side wall(110) of the thermal storage tank(100) includes the finishing exterior. The finishing exterior is installed with a sheet made of an aluminum material having the cross section of a waveform. A space bar is arrayed in an equal space. An iron strip is installed on an outer side of the arranged space bar.
