PHOTOGRAPHING CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROHIBITING FLASH

PURPOSE: A photographing control method for restricting the use of a flash and an apparatus thereof are provided to protect child's sight by automatically restricting the use of the flash when photographing the face of a child. CONSTITUTION: A face recognition unit(73) recognizes a face from an obtained image. A controller(71) determines whether the recognized face is the face of a child. If so, the controller restricts the use of a flash. If the use of the flash is restricted, the controller performs a control operation so as to perform a photographing operation by increasing photosensitivity. If the photosensitivity is increased, ASR(Advanced Shake Reduction) is performed.
