PURPOSE: An apparatus for media management and method for owning of media transfer speed thereof are provided to drive each modules at the same speed by using the infrared sensor and the media treatment equipment. CONSTITUTION: The first module(40) comprises the transfer path belt(45) forming the reflecting surface and absorbing surface of the light. One or more second module(50) comprises the infrared sensor(55) in which the infrared ray is radiated in the transfer path belt and sensing amount of the light reflected to from the transfer path belt. The control module(70) is controlled in order to drive the second module to the same speed as the feeding speed of the first module which calculates by using the signal outputted from the infrared sensor. The first module comprises the motor and the velocity measurement portion(41) driving the transfer path belt. The velocity measurement portion measures the driving rate of the motor.
