PURPOSE: A display device is provided to reduce speckles, generated in a screen, through characteristics of laser beams. CONSTITUTION: An image projector(120) irradiates the laser beams of a light source, and projects an image onto a screen(200). A phase shifter(140) is formed with areas having different refractive indexes, and removes speckles by continuously shifting the phase of the laser beam through the refractive indexes of the areas. A light dispersion unit(130) diffracts the laser beam emitted from the light source, disperses the laser beam into plural laser beams, and transmits the dispersed laser beams to the phase shifter. A light synthesizer(150) synthesizes the laser beams where the phase is transformed in the phase shifter.
