A METHOD OF TRANSMITTING A PILOT IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATIION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A pilot transmission method in a mobile communications system which accurately presumes the channel information of a frequency band is provided to efficiently transmit the data and efficiently operate a closed-loop system by accurately presuming channel information of a frequency band. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) symbols carrying data signal is generated. A pilot which informs the channel information about a part frequency band of a frequency band is allocated within a plurality of OFDMA symbols. The data signal on a plurality of OFDMA symbols and the pilot is transmitted to the uplink.
