X-RAY GENERATION APPARATUS USING CARBON NANO-TUBE

PURPOSE: A carbon nano tube based X ray generator is provided to improve efficiency of a tube current by inducing the uniform discharge of an electron beam from a carbon nano tube cathode. CONSTITUTION: A carbon nano tube cathode is formed on a substrate(13). A spacer(12) has a hole or recess part. A substrate is arranged on the hole or recess part of the spacer. A grid(14) is combined with the spacer. An electron focus module is arranged on the spacer. The electron focus module includes a first dielectric(15), a first focus electrode(16), and a second dielectric(17). The electron focus module focuses the electron beam emitted from the carbon nano tube cathode.
