<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for inputting a command or data based on movement of touch position and a direction change are provided to use touch movement and movement direction change with a small number about a touch surface, thereby easily and quickly finding and inputting a desired command or data from a database. CONSTITUTION: If a touch location moves by touching a touch surface of a touch input device, a following command and data are successively selected corresponding to movement distance and direction. If the distance and movement direction assigned to the touch location are the same as or opposite to distance and movement direction assigned when selecting a command and data in a previous step, a following command or data of the same sub group are selected(S3). A command or data of a following level sub group related to the command or data selected in the previous step is selected except the above cases.</p> |
