PURPOSE: A lever drag type dual bearing reel is provided to keep the free rotation of a spool by shortening the length of the portion opposite to a first flange part and a first opening. CONSTITUTION: A lever drag type dual bearing reel is composed of a spool having a wire wound body(9a) and first and second flange parts(9b); a spool shaft(5) supporting the spool rotatably; a drag unit having a braking disk(22), a friction disk(21), and a moving unit; a drag control lever(2) for controlling the drag force of the drag unit by operating the moving unit; a reel main body(1) for supporting the spool, the spool shaft, a drag unit, and the drag control lever. The reel main body comprises a first opening, a second opening, a first opposing unit, and a first thigh part. |
