AN APPARATUS FOR MENISCUS SHIELD WEIR SHIFTING

PURPOSE: An apparatus for meniscus shield weir shifting is provided to steadily construct by making the uniform flow of molten steel. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for meniscus shield weir shifting comprises a stopper(100). The stopper is installed in both sides of a shaft(13). The stopper is classified into a stopper axis(27), a main body(24) and a stopper head(21). The stopper axis is inserted in a stopper guide(26) in which a spring is inserted. The stopper head contacts with a refractory(12) of the edge dam. A meniscus shield wear(16) is installed in the stopper head in the vertical direction of the main body. The main body and meniscus shield wear of the stopper are fixed with a bolt hole(23) and a bolt(22).
