<p>An in-valve mountable mixing device (21), the device (21) being configured to fit within an outlet port (17) of a mixing valve (10) and to positively engage with the mixing valve (10) to prevent rotation of the mixing device (21) within the valve when mounted. The device (21) includes one or more vanes (65,67) adapted to induce swirl into a fluid passing through the outlet port (17). In a second aspect the invention could be said to be a mixing valve (10) adapted to receive or house such a mixing device (21) in its outlet port (17) and to hold it in such a manner that the device cannot rotate within the body (11) of the valve (10).</p> |
