PURPOSE: A crude oil preprocessing system removing sludge included in crude oil and a method thereof are provided to store the oil having a small amount of sludge buy removing sludge in advance. CONSTITUTION: A crude oil preprocessing system removing sludge included in crude oil comprises the following: a centrifuge(12) discharging and separating crude oil components by rotating and agitating crude oil in which sludge is included; a sludge oil collecting unit(17) collecting oil remaining in sludge by compressing the sludge discharged from the centrifuge; and a crude oil storage tank(16) storing the discharged oil in which sludge is removed.
