PURPOSE: A lens driving apparatus is provided to supply a magnetic circuit in which magnetic efficiency is good by disposing four permanent magnet pieces and four magnetic circuit secondary members. CONSTITUTION: A yoke(16) includes an outer shell part(202) of a square container shape. A permanent magnet(18) includes four permanent magnet pieces(182,184) having a cross section of a rectangular shape. The permanent magnet pieces are disposed in the four corners of the outer shell part of the yoke. Four magnetic circuit secondary members(36) are respectively disposed between the four corners of the outer shell part and the permanent magnet pieces. The magnetic circuit secondary member includes ferromagnetic material.
