INSTRUMENTED CAPSULE FOR IRRADIATION TEST OF MATERIAL ON OR HOLE OF RESEARCH REACTOR

PURPOSE: An instrumented capsule for performing a material irradiation test on a reactor or hole using neutron is provided to suppress vertical and horizontal displacement of a capsule body using a rod tip and an upper stopper. CONSTITUTION: A capsule body(110) includes a thermal medium. A test specimen is inserted into the thermal medium. A fixing unit(120) is combined with the lower part of the capsule body. The rod tip of the fixing unit is inserted into a bottom fixing groove of an OR hole of a research reactor. A protection pipe(130) is combined with the upper side of the capsule body. When the capsule body is inserted into the OR hole of the research reactor, the upper stopper of the protection pipe is pressurized by the clamp of the research reactor. A guide pipe(140) is combined with the upper side of the protection pipe.
