PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for stabilizing an RF output signal level are provided to generate an RF output signal of a stable level without respect to temperature change, time change and frequency change. CONSTITUTION: A variable attenuator(12) performs variable attenuation according to a control signal about an RF input signal. An amplifier(20) amplifies an signal outputted from the variable attenuator by a predetermined gain. An output signal level detector(41) detects a voltage level about the amplified signal. A controller(60) generates the control signal according to the voltage level.
