PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLY-VINYLCHLORIDE RESIN WITH MATTE SURFACE

PURPOSE: A process for preparing a poly-vinylchloride resin is provided to increase matte properties of the paste vinyl chloride-based resin without inorganic filler or additives while not degrading the properties such as viscosity and foaming property. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing a paste poly-vinylchloride resin comprises the steps of: emulsifying a chlorinated vinyl monomer, small seed latex, big seed latex, emulsifier and polymerization initiator to obtain a paste vinyl chloride-based resin; adding a polymerization controlling agent before or during polymerization; and further adding the small seed latex after polymerization termination. The polymerization controlling agent is 2-ethylhexyl thioglycolic acid and is included in the amount of 0.035~0.07 parts by weight based on the chlorinated vinyl monomer 100.0 parts by weight.
