PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing a user interface are provided to input data by a control device like a mouse without a character input device, thereby providing a UI for conveniently loading a frequently performed work. CONSTITUTION: A control module(110) decides the location of a control UI(User Interface) in a background or an application interface. When the control UI is located in the first area, a UI module(120) activates a program UI in the second area of the background or the application interface. When the control UI is located in the activated program UI, a function module(130) performs a designated function based on a message selected by the control UI. |
