PURPOSE: A system for judging the noninstalling of humidification filter in a natural humidification air cleaner and a method therefor are provided to recognize a state of the natural humidification air cleaner, and to mount a humidification filter rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A system for judging the noninstalling of humidification filter in a natural humidification air cleaner includes a driving mode determining part(310), a motor speed measurement part(320), a pulse signal detecting part(330), and an operation part(340). The driving mode determining part determines a state of the natural humidification air cleaner. The motor speed measurement part measures the speed of a motor. The pulse signal detecting part detects a pulse signal produced by the motor. The operation part compares the duty ratio of the pulse signal in a general clean mode and the duty ratio of the duty ratio of the pulse signal of a humidification clean mode.
