<p>The apparatus serves for mounting a stop rule (10) on the machine table (14) of a table saw by means of an adapter (34) that comprises on one side a clamping bar (40), protruding from a plate (36), for engagement into a longitudinal groove (24) of the stop rule (10), and on the oppositely located side means for connection to a clamping element (26) of a rule carrier (28) attached to the machine table (14). The plate (36), carrying the clamping bar (40), of the adapter (34) is supported between two columns (42) that are fastenable on the rule carrier (28) and carries on its back si de (50), facing toward the rule carrier (28), a vertically adjustable clamping plate (52) fo r clamping the clamping element (26) of the rule carrier (28) fixedly against the back side (50) of the plate (36). The clamping plate (52) is connected to the plate (36) of the adapter (34) via two releasable screws (60) that are guided in vertically adjustable fashion in two vertical elongated holes (64) of the plate (36).</p> |
