PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to enable the second body to surround the side of the first body and enable an operating unit to be received in the first body, thereby realizing a structurally stable state. CONSTITUTION: The first body(10) is composed of a main surface and sides. A display unit(13) is included in the main surface of the first body. The sides are expanded in the main surface. The second body(20) protects one or more parts among the sides of the first body. An operating unit is included in the main surface of the second body. The operating unit is included to be received in the first body. A slide module slidingly connects the first and second bodies.
