<p>Packages assembled from open trays contoured to nest individual bottles in layers above and below each tray, the trays being stacked between mouldings which locate bottles on their inner face only. Pref. the outsides of the mouldings are grooved to locate straps to bind the pack together and/or provide handles. Pref. the edges of adjacent mouldings engage in a symmetrical tongue-and-groove pattern. Pref. pack components are moulded in cellular materials of expanded polystyrene. Esp. for transporting wines and spirits using colour coded packs with open windows which display the number and contents of the bottles.</p> |
