<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker wherein a linear light emitter for easily producing a clear linear shape with a small light-dark difference is provided on the outer periphery of a heating coil to definitely display the heating range of a corresponding heating part. <P>SOLUTION: On a lead part horizontal portion 8 of a light source, a shielding cover 6 is provided which has a rib 7 for pressing the lead part horizontal portion 8 down, when mounted on a printed wiring board 4.
