摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress image quality deterioration and a decrease in coding performance due to a change of pixel value that occurs to a boundary between a display color region and a transparent color region on an image in the case of encoding an image having the display color region and the transparent color region.

SOLUTION: The image processor for encoding image data by coding using wavelet transformation is provided with: an image processing part 11 which performs processing for replacing pixel data of a pixel corresponding to a transparent color region in image data after wavelet transformation so that a high-frequency component of the image data is suppressed after the wavelet transformation is performed when encoding the image data to a character image, and uses the processed image data to perform inverse wavelet transformation; and a JPEG 2000 encoder 15 for encoding the processed image data.
