<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a rocker arm formed of sheet metal in which the work of feeding a raw sheet 9 and intermediate raw materials 12, 14 to 19 into a die, and the work of taking them out of the die in each process can be easily performed, the percentage of the material that becomes waste by being punched out of a metallic sheet 8 can be reduced, and the manufacturing cost of the rocker arm 1 formed of sheet metal can be suppressed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Longitudinal directions of the raw sheet 9 and the intermediate raw materials 12, 14 to 19 in each processing step are matched to the feeding direction of the long metallic plate 8, and the raw sheet 9, and the intermediate raw materials 12, 14 to 19 are arranged in series with one another with respect to the feeding direction. Therefore, the die for processing can be arranged without uselessly increasing a pitch P between the raw sheet 9 and the intermediate raw materials 12, 14 to 19 that are adjacent to one another in each processing step.
