<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which the opening/closing operation of a big winning port is firmly recognized by a player even while reducing the putout of prize balls as much as possible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A game board 101 is provided with a big winning port opening/closing device 109 with a big winning port 109c. Control means 200 controls a long winning game in which the big winning port 109c is opened and a round game for making it possible for a game ball to enter the big winning port 109c is executed 15 times and a short winning game in which the round game is executed 15 times and the total opening time of the big winning port 109c in all the round games is set shorter than that in the long winning game. The game machine is provided with a speaker 277, and the control means 200 controls the speaker 277 at least during the execution of the short winning game, and makes it possible for the player to recognize the opening/closing operation of the big winning port 109c by the sound output of the speaker 277.
