1,216,055. Shuttleless looms. FELIX TONNAR G.m.b.H. 26 Aug., 1969 [28 Aug., 1968], No. 42461/69. Heading DIE. The weft 3 is moved across the path of a gripper shuttle by a pivoted clamping lever. The clamping lever is in two parts 7 and 8 mounted on a pivoted lever 16 having a stop 25. The parts 78 are spring loaded and in the position of Figure 2 the part 8 is abutting the stop 25 so that the parts are separated and the weft 3 lies over the part 8 and under the forked end 7a of the part 7. As the lever 16 is pivoted clockwise the part 7 descends until the weft is trapped between the fork 7a and the part 8. The part 8 then leaves the stop 25, the parts 7 and 8 pivot on the lever 16 and the weft 3 is held in the path of the gripper shuttle (Figure 5). |
