A connecting unit (4) electrically contacts the subassembly unit, and connects the device to a system e.g. safety system, to be controlled. A plastic housing (7) in which the carrier with the electronic subassembly unit is arranged. Reinforcement frames (10) at which the housing, the connecting unit and the carrier are mechanically fastened in a region of the sensor, where the device is mechanically fastened to a cultivable surface by the frames.
