A control valve for exhaust gas recycling (EGR) in an IC engine has a valve module (3) joined to a control module (2) via two mating flat flanges (4,5). The control module contains the magnetic yoke and the solenoid coil and is held in a plastic molding with ribbed exterior for cooling. The two flanges are clamped together by an outer rolled ring (15) and with sealing gaskets (19) clamped between the flanges. The valve module has cooling ribs (20) between the flange and the valve housing. |
