ACOUSTIC PROCESSING APPARATUS

An acoustic processing apparatus allows for reproduction of an audio signal with an acoustically satisfactory quality by being capable of adding an acoustic process corresponding to a listener's sense to the audio signal independently of the properties of an audio source.  The acoustic processing apparatus (1) is provided with a gain calculation section (5) which calculates a gain correction amount according to predetermined acoustic properties, an offset gain calculation section (6) which calculates a gain offset amount on the basis of the frequency properties of the audio signal analyzed by a frequency analysis section (3), an acoustic signal generation section (7) which generates an acoustic signal on the basis of the gain correction amount and the gain offset amount, and an acoustic addition section (8) which adds the generated acoustic signal to the audio signal.
