The invention relates to a segmented aircraft comprising gas cells which are filled with an energy medium, especially an aircraft which contains a gaseous energy medium that is approximately the same weight as air in interlinked gas cells and/or a continuous gas cell, said energy medium supplying controllable drives that are eccentrically mounted on the segments with energy. The thrust thereby produced together with the pressurized shell is sufficiently dynamic, thereby allowing the aircraft to fly stably and in a controlled manner while carrying a defined payload. Segmented interlinked gas cells are present in segmented interlinked air cells. The gas cells are filled with e.g. fuel gas (a propane/butane mixture) as the energy medium and supply a drive with energy, said drive being mounted below a top segment and driving an eccentrically mounted pair of propellers, thereby producing a vectorial thrust. The fan produces the excess pressure of the volume enclosed by the shell, thereby rendering the segmented aircraft flexible and at the same time dimensionally stable and the aircraft produces a dynamic lift together with the vectorial thrust.
