<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite membrane 10 of a still more excellent gas barrier properties-moisture permeability balance. <P>SOLUTION: The composite membrane includes of a pair of membranes 20 and a moisture-permeable resin layer 30 sandwiched therebetween, wherein the average thickness of the moisture-permeable resin layer 30 is 5 μm or thinner. The moisture-permeable resin is desirably a water-resistant moisture-permeable resin. The water-resistant moisture-permeable resin satisfies a degree of swelling of 20 or lower. The degree of swelling is determined from a volume change of the resin before and after the following water resistance test. (The degree of swelling)=(the volume of the resin after the water resistance test)/(the volume of the resin before the water resistance test). The water resistance test consists of allowing the resin to stand for 24 h at a temperature of 120°C and a water vapor pressure of 0.23 MPa and thereafter immersing the resin in water at a temperature of 25°C for 15 min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
