<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for folding back braided wires of a coaxial cable, for reliably and easily folding back braided wires of a coaxial cable to a protective cover side , in order to attach a connector or the like thereto. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, external conductor wires which are braided around the inner conductor wires of the coaxial cable via an insulation body and covered with the protective cover, are folded to the outside of the protective cover at the tip of the coaxial cable. The method includes a first step of unbraiding the wire by combing the external conductor wires exposed at the tip of the coaxial cable with a brush in the tip direction thereof, and a second step of folding back the external conductor wires to the outside of the protective cover by combing with the brush the external conductor wires unbraided in the first step, in the direction opposite to the tip direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
