摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic actuator capable of reducing impact noises more reliably without delaying actuating time in engagement of an engaging means. <P>SOLUTION: When a dog clutch 30 is brought into an engaged condition from a release condition by an attraction force generated by an electromagnetic coil 50 provided in this electromagnetic actuator 40, if a magnetic gap which is the distance between a plunger 70 and an inner yoke 60 is larger than a prescribed value, an urging force in the direction making both of them separated only by a return spring 110 is given. Moreover, the magnetic gap becomes lower than the prescribed value, the urging force is given also by using a buffer spring 111. Thus, the delay of the actuating time can be suppressed since the urging force given in an early stage of engagement is small, and moreover, when the magnetic gap becomes small, a speed at the collision between the plunger 70 and the inner yoke 60 can be delayed by a large urging force. As a result, the impact noises can be reduced more reliably without delaying the actuating time in engagement of the dog clutch 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
