PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller capable of improving fuel saving by preventing slip loss. SOLUTION: The vehicle controller includes a means for adjusting the magnitude of a rotation driving force which a wheel drive apparatus 3 applies to a wheel 2. The means is configured to adjust the magnitude of the rotation driving force applied to the wheel 2 for reduction of fluctuations in a grounding force while the wheel 2 is running on a road surface and thereby local slip can be suppressed between the wheel 2 and the road surface. As a result, slip loss is suppressed and the rotational energy of the wheel 2 can be transferred to the road surface with high efficiency, thus improving fuel saving. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
