PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform calibration of a camera with ease and saved space. SOLUTION: A calibration device 100 can be secured to a camera 20 which is to be calibrated. A weight 10 suspended vertically by a predetermined length from a position offset by a predetermined distance P from an optical center on the optical axis of the camera, is photographed with the camera 20. Based on coordinates Q of the weight which is specified from the image thus photographed, a parameter estimating part 140 calculates a depression angleθand a rotation angleϕof the camera.
