<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity-conditioning building material and an installation structure of the humidity-conditioning building material provided with functions different from humidity conditioning property such as aromatic property, antibacterial property, mildewproofness and insect-proofness in addition to humidity conditioning property and maintaining these functions over a long period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The humidity-conditioning building material has a water soluble dry capsule on the back face of a humidity-conditioning building material body, and a filled material containing an aromatic is filled in the water soluble dry capsule. This humidity-conditioning building material has humidity conditioning action by the humidity-conditioning building material body and has aromatic action by the aromatic existing on the back face of the humidity-conditioning building material body. The aromatic is filled in the water soluble dry capsule, and the water soluble dry capsule is gradually decomposed by moisture passing through the humidity-conditioning building material body from the surface side of the humidity-conditioning building material body.
