<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the overall length of a stator of a rotating electrical machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotating electrical machine includes a stator 1 having a stator core 10 around which a winding 2 is wound, and a rotor 3 which is rotatably disposed facing the stator 1. The stator core 10 is formed with first teeth 121, 123, and 125 and second teeth 122, 124, and 126 which are arranged radially outward in the radial direction and are alternately arranged in the peripheral direction. One end part in the axis direction of each of the first teeth 121, 123, and 125 is formed longer in the axis direction than one end part in the axis direction of each of the second teeth 122, 124, and 126.
