PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth the slide of an air valve actuated by a trigger in a coaxial type in which a needle valve and the air valve are coaxial. SOLUTION: There is provided a spray gun including an air valve means comprising a valve seat which is attached to a valve stage hole and partitions the valve storage hole into front and rear air compartments, an air valve having a valve which is situated in the middle in the direction of the length of a base pipe externally fitted to a needle valve and opens or closes the valve seat, a front hold means provided with a front guide hole which closes the front end of the front air compartment and passes the base pipe to guide the air valve back and forth, and a rear hold means provided with a rear guide hole which closes the rear end of the rear air compartment and passes the base pipe to guide the air valve back and forth. The base pipe is freely inserted into the front and rear guide holes so as to leave such a play as to allow inclination at a sway angleθof 1°or larger with respect to the centerline of each guide hole.
