<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with frequent notification of a guard interval length from a base station to mobile stations in a wireless communication system in which a plurality of guard interval lengths are used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system for performing wireless communication between a plurality of mobile stations and a base station, the base station generates wireless signals including a plurality of slots with different guard interval lengths and allocates a slot to a target mobile station wherein the slot is selected based on a guard interval length used for the target mobile station among the plurality of the slots.
