<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SIMD type microprocessor in which an arithmetic processing time is further shortened by reducing the number of cycles of stall or clock wait which used to be excessive in a conventional manner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the SIMD type microprocessor 1 having a PE part 3 configured of 256 pieces of PE, a GP 2 for controlling a PE part 3 includes a stall control circuit 23, and the stall control circuit 23 of the GP part 2 is configured to perform stall control on the basis of PE range designation information, and the PE part 3 includes a data control circuit 37, and configured to perform timing adjustment corresponding to the stall control of the GP part 2 on the basis of PE range designation information.
