Disclosed is a resin composition provided with excellent mold releasability and anti-blocking properties. Specifically disclosed is a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer-containing resin composition which contains 0.01-10 parts by mass of a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer (B) per 100 parts by mass of at least one resin (A) selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins.  The 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer-containing resin composition is characterized in that (B1) the 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer (B) has a limiting viscosity [?] as measured in a decalin solvent at 135°C within the range of not less than 0.01 dl/g but less than 0.50 dl/g.
