PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display having a minimized area by partially forming a driving circuit pattern and a driving circuit in a frame region exhibiting a frame effect. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes: a display region defined by a plurality of gate lines and data lines, and having a plurality of thin film transistors, for displaying an image; the frame region which is composed of a first region having a reflection layer for displaying a color in a reflective mode reflecting incident light, and a second region having the driving circuit pattern and driving circuit for shielding incident light, and is formed at the outer edge of the display region for displaying the color having set brightness; and an outer region formed at the outer edge of the frame region and having the driving circuit.
