<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor power module which a magnetic member used as a filter element can be replaced as occasion demands and its package can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor power module is an improved semiconductor power module for power conversion apparatus which converts DC power or AC power by switching a power semiconductor element such as an IGBT. An annular magnetic member 6c is arranged so as to surround terminals connected to a power semiconductor element in a module package 21, e.g., terminals 2a and 2b.
