<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator capable of exerting stable performance for a long period of time by grasping a gas escape state appropriately and taking an appropriate measures. <P>SOLUTION: In the accumulator having an approximately cupped metal shell, a cover member which blocks an opening section of the shell and is caulked and fixed with the opening section, and a rubbery elastic bladder arranged in the shell, compressed gas is enclosed in a gas chamber enclosed by the shell and bladder via a gas enclosing hole arranged on a top of the shell, and a fluid is externally introduced into a fluid chamber enclosed by a cover member and the bladder via a fluid introducing hole arranged on the cover member.
