<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional water atomization apparatus which can supply a hydrogenated water or an oxygenated water by atomizing it, and also which is configured compactly. <P>SOLUTION: The functional water atomization apparatus is provide with a water supply means 11 for supplying water W onto a substrate part 1 having a vibration face 4 propagating surface elastic waves, on the substrate part 1; an electrolysis means 10 comprising a cathode 6 and an anode 7 for electrolyzing water W supplied from the water supply means 11; a water reservoir part 8 for maintaining the hydrogenated water produced around the cathode 6 of the electrolysis means 10, by capillary phenomenon; and a vibrating element 2 for propagating the surface elastic waves up to the water reservoir part 8 through the vibration face 4.
