PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with an exhaust means exhausting ozone in an early stage and quickly stopping a fan that produces noise, because an ozone exhaust fan produces noise if the ozone exhaust fan continuously operates after a user inputs an instruction to cut off a power supply in the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: By operating the ozone exhaust fan and removing air containing ozone between a charging device and a photoreceptor by using an extruding member, removal of ozone is quickened and an operation time of the ozone exhaust fan is shortened.
