PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life image forming device that causes few image defects can easily remove a foreign substance that bites into a cleaning blade without deteriorating the durability of the blade. SOLUTION: In the image forming device equipped with a photoreceptor belt having a region where an electrostatic latent image is not formed by exposure at any time in a printing operation, a level difference is provided in the travelling direction of the photoreceptor belt by attaching a member to a part of the region of the photoreceptor belt where an electrostatic latent image is not formed.
